2022-2024 State of Connecticut Continuing Education Requirements for Salespersons and Brokers

  • Mandatory Course: Agency Law For Real Estate Licensees – 3 hours

  • NAR Mandates that ALL members take Code of Ethics training every three years– 3 hours

    (considered an elective for the state of CT)

  • Elective Courses: 9 hours

  • Mandatory Course: 3 hours

  • Total Course Hours: 12

2024 CONTINUING EDUCATION COMPLETION DATES HAVE CHANGED!!

The State has changed the mandatory completion date for Continuing Education for Salespersons and Brokers. You MUST complete your 12 hours of CE classes 90 days PRIOR to your license renewal. That’s 3 months PRIOR to your license renewal.

YOU MUST COMPLETE YOUR CE CLASSES BY THE APPLICABLE DATE:

~ February 28th, 2024 (Salespersons)

~ August 31st, 2024 (Brokers)

Salespersons, It is recommended that you get started ASAP, continue in the Spring and then finish by the Fall of 2023 to avoid being out of compliance.
